Samsung is Exploring Potential of How 5G Can be Used to Improve Chip-Making

Samsung Electronics Co. is working to determine how fifth-generation wireless networks can speed up connections at its chip-making factory in Austin, Texas.

The company has partnered with AT&T Inc.’s communications section to develop a customized 5G network to examine how it could be used in chip manufacturing.
